These terms govern your use of EVE ("the Service"), operated by EVE. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Description of Service

EVE is an AI companion that can help you with tasks including conversation, email management, calendar scheduling, file search, and music playback. EVE is available through text chat, voice calls, and video calls.

2. Accounts

You may use EVE as a guest with limited features, or create an account for the full experience
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must provide accurate information when creating an account
One person per account — sharing accounts is not permitted

3. Connected Services

EVE can connect to third-party services (Google Workspace, Telegram) on your behalf. When you connect a service:

You authorize EVE to access and act on your data within the scope you granted
EVE will only perform actions you explicitly request
You can disconnect any service at any time from Settings
Your use of connected services is also subject to their respective terms of service

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use EVE for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
Transmit harmful, abusive, or harassing content
Use EVE to spam or send bulk unsolicited messages through connected services
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service

5. AI-Generated Content

EVE's responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date
You should review any actions EVE takes on your behalf (emails sent, calendar events created, etc.)
EVE is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.)

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep EVE available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
Usage limits (voice/video call duration, message quotas) may apply and are subject to change

7. Limitation of Liability

EVE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any actions taken by EVE on your connected services
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but Sections 5, 7, and 9 survive.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
